Reasons Why Burning Candle Is Beneficial
Candles are a remarkable discovery that has been around for centuries. It is believed that the first use of candles went back to ancient times when they were used primarily to provide light and as an aid in religious ceremonies. Rather than relying on candles to provide light, these days scented candles and soy wax candles have grown in popularity as a way to create an atmosphere and invoke different emotions. Such candles are perfect for use at celebrations, romantic moments, or just for setting a relaxing tone. In this article, we will explore some of the many benefits provided by burning scented soy candles. A desirable ambience & atmosphere Candle arrangements can be incredibly alluring and attractive, but there is much more to them than the way they look. Not only do they have a calming and healing vibe that radiates throughout the space, but they are often used by massage therapists and other health professionals as part of their relaxation therapies. Your decor flourishes The beauty of your décor can be heightened and accentuated with the addition of a few burning candles, no matter what type of interior design or style you have chosen for your home. You can choose from a wide array of scents to perfectly match your preferences - from floral and fruity aromas to soothing and calming scents. Add a pleasant fragrance to your space Entering your room and being immediately welcomed with the tantalizing aroma of strawberries or the alluring scent of vanilla is enough to change your mood in an instant. Candles may provide a beautiful ambience but there's something indescribably magical about incorporating a pleasing fragrance that can touch your soul. Are Any celebrations coming up? Candles are a classic and timeless way to spruce up any event, from birthdays and anniversaries, to dates or other special occasions. The warm glow of candlelight illuminates the room, creating an ambience that is both inviting and celebratory. Health benefits of candles We all agree that being physically fit is very important, especially to promote the production of endorphins which are important for our mental health. Scented candles have been known to calm the mind and put it at ease, especially for those who struggle with anxiety attacks, panic attacks and more. Studies have shown that aromatherapy is highly beneficial for stress relief.  Meditation & prayer If you are someone who takes meditation and prayer seriously, scented candles can help enhance your practice and your experience. It is said that many practices involve focusing on the flame of a candle while you send out your prayers and intentions to the universe. You're go-to for a romantic setting Use candle-light to keep your spark alive. Burning candles can make for a perfect solution for a date, whether it’s lit at dinner or breakfast. The warm flickering of the flame is often associated with a feeling of peace and calm that can help to relax both partners. DIY: Make Scented Soy Candles – A Step By Step Guide!
Home design enthusiasts know that DIY activities are a popular way to create attractive and distinctive décor. DIY projects may be rewarding, but it can be challenging to find something that is both enjoyable and easy. The scented candles in Australia are a favourite DIY activity among crafters for a good reason: they are infinitely adaptable, gorgeous, and easy to build. Scented candles are cherished long after February is through for a present, so make one for a Valentine. We will demonstrate how to create scented candles in Australia at home in the following post! Measure the Wax: Ensure you have a clean, levelled area to work on before starting the candle-making procedure. Anything you don't want wax on should be moved. You may also use newspaper or paper towels to protect the area. Do a doubling of the amount of wax you need to fill the container once you have measured it out. To melt so much wax, you will need to use a double boiler. Put the Wax in a Pot and Warm It Up: Pour the wax into a double boiler and heat it for 10 minutes. Continue stirring to prevent scorching or burning. Incorporate Essential Oils for Scent: It is time to add your choice of essential oil to your melted wax. I personally love adding lavender oil to make a gorgeous, scented soy candle wax. Stir for two minutes after adding it to the melted wax. Even though this stage is optional, we strongly suggest it! You get a beautiful scent, completely non-toxic. The amount of wax to use is specified on the packaging. The Wick Is Attached: Before adding the wax, ensure the wick is secured to the bottom of the container. The wick may be attached by using double-sided wick tape to secure it. Alternatively, the wick may be attached by swiftly adhering it to the bottom of the bottle after putting in the melted wax. If this is the case, read the next step, then, allow the wax to solidify for five minutes. Put the Wax in the Container: When the thermometer registers 80 degrees Celsius, it is time to start the pouring process. After that, carefully pour the hot wax liquid into the container you have prepared. The wick should be held in position, but not pulled on. Allow a tiny bit of wax to remain inside the boiler for subsequent use. Increase the Quantity of Wax Used: If the top of your candle has cracked or holed, reheat it and add the leftover wax to fix the problem. Allow for hardening. Snip the End: The wick of your candle should be no more than 1⁄2 an inch in length. Trim the wick if it's too long, or if the candle flickers when it's lit. Look at a guide the next time you are looking for a quick and meaningful present idea. After reading this guide, you may save or pin the infographics for future reference. Finally: Candles are a great way to give light and warmth to any room, but they usually don't last long and may be rather expensive. Soy wax is an excellent choice if you're worried about the air quality inside your house. Even though candles come in various shapes and sizes, they all have three essential components: wax, wick, and holder. But, be sure to use the correct wax & wick for the task. Making your candles is as simple as experimenting with different fragrances and oils. Buy scented candles online at Bespoke & Co. Candles. ANCIENT WISDOM OF CANDLE THERAPY
Eleni Contzonis, Author & Director of Bespoke & Co. Candles. What is candle therapy? And how will this process change my life? Candle therapy is a peaceful and uplifting journey that can help you to achieve your dreams and desires and to fulfil your life’s purpose. The flame is so magical and powerful that it helps you tap into other dimensions, as well as to heal. Have you ever looked deep at a burning flame? What pictures and patterns did you see? These were created because the flame of the candle pierces the curtain between the physical and spiritual worlds, and creates a pathway between dimensions and reflects like a mirror – showing you what you need to witness – allowing healing to take place both physically and emotionally.

The Saint Kyprianos 9 Day Ritual Candle, Who Is St Kyprianos?
St. Kyprianos related to the governor how he had found out the infirmity and the deception of the demons and come to understand the power of Christ, which the demons feared and before which they trembled, disappearing from before the sign of the precious cross; and likewise he explained the reason for his conversion to Christ, for Whom he declared his readiness to die. The torturer did not accept the words of Kyprianos in his heart, but being unable to reply to them, he commanded that the Saint be hung up and his body scraped, and that St. Justina be beaten on the mouth and eyes. For the whole time of the long torments they ceaselessly confessed Christ and endured everything with thanksgiving. Then the torturer imprisoned them and strove by kind exhortation to return them to idol worship. When he was unable to convince them, he commanded that they be thrown into a cauldron; but the boiling cauldron did not cause them any harm, and they glorified God as if they were in some cool place. Seeing this, one priest of the idols, by name Athanasius, said: "In the name of the god Aesculapius, I also will throw myself into this fire and put to shame those sorcerers." But hardly had the fire touched him than he immediately died.

The Importance Of A Home Altar
Why we use sand in our altar: Sand is often a metaphor for the passing of time (as in an hourglass), especially with regard to eventual destruction (as mountains and pyramids turn to sand over time). The colour beige is neutral, calm, and relaxing. The sand symbolises  survival, creativity, clarity, revelations, loneliness, and overcoming life's greatest obstacles.  It also distinguishes the candles in a safe and clean manner.  It is for this reason here at Bespoke & Co. Candles that we use sand in our altar.

How To Make Essential Oil Candles At Home?
“Like a tiny candle in a dark room, even just a little bit of positivity can cancel out a whole lot of negativity.” There’s not a bad mood that a scented candle can’t fix. Light a candle while working, while cooking, or after a long day, and see your energy soar. Spiritually speaking, essential oil candles in Australia are known to uplift one’s spirit. Whatever the chore maybe, just light a candle, put on your favourite music and get on with it. With a natural release of endorphins and dopamine in your brain, your mind and soul will reach a peaceful stage where all work will be performed with passion as the soul soars high on essential oils. There is something more indulging and relaxing than lighting up a candle. You will find the process of making a candle with your own choices of essential oils very freeing. Although one might think that is an easy job, working with hot wax can be dangerous so you must take all precautions when you’re doing the deed. Pure essential oil candles can help you find your ‘The’ scent. A fragrance that works on you the best. The exciting part about making your own candles is that you can play around with different kinds of essential oils and make new fragrances. The key is to note down the proportions you’re using so that at the end of the day, you still know how to make your newly discovered fragrance candle . How To Make Essential Oil Candles At Home? The first thing you need to make sure of is to source quality products. The smell of an essential oil candle will only be strong enough to cover the entire room when the essential oils used are not of poor quality. Poor quality essential oils can also cause a faulty burning experience for a candle. Ingredients needed for DIY essential oil candles: Slow-burning wax Hot-burning wick Strong and good quality essential oils Let’s get right into it: Choose a slow-burning wax Different waxes hold fragrances differently. For example, beeswax is a slow-burning wax and it releases its own scent slowly. On the other hand, paraffin wax cannot hold a scent for long, nor do they have it’s own scent since it is a fast-burning wax. Essential oils are less fragrant than chemicals and hence you need a slow-burning wax to ensure that the smell of your essential oil receives justice. We personally recommend soy wax . The two great properties of soy wax are that it burns slower and releases less soot and smoke, making it a cleaner and more sustainable option. It also releases fragrances beautifully as it burns slowly and makes your candles last longer.  Choose a hot-burning wick You need a hot-burning wick because that ensures that your oils are getting released into the air in a decent amount. It is important to make sure that your wick does not have a metal centre or paraffin coating. That would beat the entire purpose of making a toxin-free candle. Hemp wicks tend to burn much hotter than cotton and are the ideal choice! Choosing your oils Finally, the best part. You can obviously choose your own oils but certain oils tend to have a very soft smell that might get lost in a candle since wax also has its own smell. Such oils are great for aromatherapy but it’s better to choose a stronger scent for your candles. For example, eucalyptus, rosemary, vanilla, pine, etc. If you really wish to use your favourite soft smell, you can experiment by mixing different oils. You need to use more oil than you think. The right ratio is 2 teaspoons of essential oils for every 4 ounces of melted wax. Make sure you add it at the right time. Too soon or too early can hinder the compounds of the wax. The ideal temperature to mix your oils is 180 degrees F. Cover your candle as it sets to avoid any fragrance escaping. Soy essential oil candles tend to last you for a long time and they’re great to get some work done. If you wish to not go through this process, just look up ‘ essential oil candles near me’ and get in touch with us at Bespoke & Co Candles for quality scented candles.

Benefits of Soy Candles & Melts
Benefits of Soy Candles & Melts   Soy wax has many environmental and health benefits, and we love working with it here at Bespoke & Co. Candles HQ. We only use soy wax for our container candles. We have a motto:   We don’t do toxic in our lives, We don’t do toxic products. We love our candles and products, like we love our relationships… NON-TOXIC Soy wax is clean and green! Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from soybeans. Soy wax is a hydrogenated vegetable oil that turns to a solid at room temperature. After they are harvested, the beans are cleaned, cracked, dehulled, and rolled into flakes. Our wax comes from crops grown in the USA and is an entirely natural product that's safe for your skin and respiratory system. Soy wax washes away with warm, soapy water, making it easy to repurpose your vessel once the candle has burned down. No more soaking with boiling water and chipping away at residual wax. Soy wax is clean burning and doesn't release toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants, which means it's less likely to trigger allergies. Paraffin Wax May Contain Benzene Soy is a renewable source, unlike paraffin wax which relies on our dwindling supply of crude oil, petroleum oil and produces harmful by-products when burned or melted, making it better for both the environment and your health! Many mainstream candle brands make their candles with paraffin wax which derives from petroleum. It has been claimed that paraffin wax releases harmful substances when burnt. In 2009, a study by South Carolina State University found that burning paraffin wax candles gives off benzene. The American Cancer Society classifies benzene as a carcinogen, a substance that promotes the growth of cancer. In the same 2009 study performed by South Carolina State University, they found that soy wax did not give off benzene, unlike paraffin wax. Carbon neutral product Soy wax is a carbon neutral product, meaning you can enjoy your candle, knowing it hasn't had a negative impact on the environment. Soy wax is clean burning and doesn't release toxins, carcinogens or pollutants which means it's less likely to trigger allergies. Soy wax delivers a clean smell when melted. From delivering stronger scents, to being healthier to burn, there are many reasons to use soy wax melts and candles instead of paraffin ones. If you would like to experience the benefits of soy wax yourself, I welcome you to check out our range. Our hand-crafted and design ranges are tailored to suit all tastes and home décor. All in all, at Bespoke & Co. Candles, our container candles and melts are soy wax, simply because we love what we do, and we just do not burn or use toxic products in our home. So, we won’t let you bring it into to your home. If you are buying from us, we only provide non-toxic products, so there is no harm done to humans and our pets. We love our environment to be clean and green.   Eleni Contzonis, Bespoke & Co. Candles.
