About Saint Thomas:
Saint Thomas, also known as Thomas the Apostle or Doubting Thomas, is one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. He is best known for his initial skepticism about the resurrection of Christ, famously declaring that he would not believe until he saw the wounds of Jesus for himself. This moment of doubt transformed into a powerful confession of faith when, after the resurrection, Jesus appeared to him and invited him to touch his wounds. Thomas then proclaimed, ‘My Lord and my God!’ His encounter with the risen Christ highlights the importance of faith and belief, even amidst doubt. Saint Thomas is considered the patron saint of architects, builders, and India, where he is believed to have preached and died. His feast day is celebrated on July 3rd, and he remains a symbol of faith, redemption, and the journey from doubt to belief.
