Soy wax has many environmental and health benefits, and we love working with it here at Bespoke & Co. Candles HQ. We only use soy wax for our container candles.
We have a motto:
We don’t do toxic in our lives,
We don’t do toxic products.
We love our candles and products, like we love our relationships…
NON-TOXIC
Soy wax is clean and green!
Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from soybeans. Soy wax is a hydrogenated vegetable oil that turns to a solid at room temperature. After they are harvested, the beans are cleaned, cracked, dehulled, and rolled into flakes. Our wax comes from crops grown in the USA and is an entirely natural product that's safe for your skin and respiratory system. Soy wax washes away with warm, soapy water, making it easy to repurpose your vessel once the candle has burned down. No more soaking with boiling water and chipping away at residual wax. Soy wax is clean burning and doesn't release toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants, which means it's less likely to trigger allergies.
Paraffin Wax May Contain Benzene
Soy is a renewable source, unlike paraffin wax which relies on our dwindling supply of crude oil, petroleum oil and produces harmful by-products when burned or melted, making it better for both the environment and your health!
Many mainstream candle brands make their candles with paraffin wax which derives from petroleum. It has been claimed that paraffin wax releases harmful substances when burnt. In 2009, a study by South Carolina State University found that burning paraffin wax candles gives off benzene. The American Cancer Society classifies benzene as a carcinogen, a substance that promotes the growth of cancer. In the same 2009 study performed by South Carolina State University, they found that soy wax did not give off benzene, unlike paraffin wax.
Carbon neutral product
Soy wax is a carbon neutral product, meaning you can enjoy your candle, knowing it hasn't had a negative impact on the environment. Soy wax is clean burning and doesn't release toxins, carcinogens or pollutants which means it's less likely to trigger allergies.
Soy wax delivers a clean smell when melted.
From delivering stronger scents, to being healthier to burn, there are many reasons to use soy wax melts and candles instead of paraffin ones. If you would like to experience the benefits of soy wax yourself, I welcome you to check out our range. Our hand-crafted and design ranges are tailored to suit all tastes and home décor.
All in all, at Bespoke & Co. Candles, our container candles and melts are soy wax, simply because we love what we do, and we just do not burn or use toxic products in our home. So, we won’t let you bring it into to your home. If you are buying from us, we only provide non-toxic products, so there is no harm done to humans and our pets. We love our environment to be clean and green.
The Spiritual Power of Combining the Jesus Prayer and Frankincense
When combined, the Jesus Prayer and the burning of frankincense create a profound spiritual practice that enhances both our internal and external connection to God. At Bespoke & Co Candle HQ, we take this sacred tradition seriously by blessing all our products with the smoke of pure frankincense. The use of frankincense in prayer is more than just a ritual; it embodies the sacredness of our communication with the divine, making our prayer time a moment of deep reflection and reverence.
In the tapestry of human history, few doctrines have woven as profoundly into the moral fabric of society as the Ten Commandments. These ancient directives, believed to be bestowed upon Moses by God on Mount Sinai, stand as enduring pillars in the religious traditions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In this exploration, we delve into the significance of the Ten Commandments, their relevance in our contemporary world, and the profound wisdom they offer in navigating the complexities of modern life.
The Divine Revelation:
The biblical account, nestled within the Book of Exodus, chronicles the pivotal moment when the Israelites, liberated from Egyptian slavery, found themselves at the foot of Mount Sinai. Here, Moses embarked on a transcendent journey, ascending the mountain to commune with the divine. Over forty days and forty nights, amidst thunder, lightning, and a thick cloud, God inscribed the Ten Commandments onto stone tablets with a finger of celestial power.
